Snaefell
Eastern highlands
It's a different peak with the same name as taht one on the western edge of Iceland on Snaefellsness peninsula.Snaefell, best climbed from the Snaefellskálii hut, is at easy reach for good hikers, if they manage to get fair, fogless weather. This view has been taken from the other side at Eyjabakkavoss, a protected area, where wild geese breed. The fjord over the river to the east side is clearly signposted as a dangerous one, and we really cannot imagin, what kind of vehicle you'll need to drive through!!!
