Situated on Vatnsnes, the bay of Hindisvik is well known for its colony of seals. We have seen as many as 150 of them "sunbathing" on the small rocky island just a few meters off the coastline. The site might be  interesting both for tourists and seals, as each species is trying to get as close to the opposite one as possible to study its behaviour.
